Pharmacology Treating Internet Addiction with Clomipramine ?

Personally, I'd like to admit that I'm addicted to the Internet. I've talked with my Doctor about this and she said I'm mildly Compulsive. I was taking Protriptyline before for my depression and Protriptyline definitely helped with my depression, but it made my compulsions worse. This gave me the Idea of trying Clomipramine, so I asked my Doctor about it. She gave it the go ahead and Prescribed me Clomipramine and so far I can tell it's been helping. I've been checking the Computer a lot less. My diagnosis is definitely complex. I have Schizoaffective disorder Bipolar type with mild Compulsiveness. So, I take a lot of medications. So far I'm starting to feel a bit less anxiety over checking what's on the internet and I've been looking at my computer a lot less. So, I'd just like to say the Clomipramine is starting to work. Which makes me wonder what do you think about taking Clomipramine for treating Internet addiction ?

If you don't have anything you prefer doing over the internet, no medicine is going to prevent that.

Addiction is just as much about your environment as it is about your brain.
