Bupe Trazodone & Subutex

I'm currently stable( ish) on 6mgs a day of Subutex; 4mgs in the morning and 2mgs a little before bedtime. I feel ok through the day but I can't sleep for shit. And being awake all night with nothing to do and alone with my thoughts kicks my anxiety into overdrive. That leads to cravings for heroin. My doctor and therapist have decided to prescribe me Trazodone for insomnia and anxiety. Has anyone used Trazodone while also taking bupenorphrine? I've never taken Trazodone or any antidepressant and don't know much about them.

Not bupe, but I've taken Trazodone and pretty much every opiate and it's fine. The only potential side-effect is increased sedation as they're both CNS depressants.

I would LOVE increased sedation right about now.

Mirtazapine is a good sedating antidepressant, I'd choose that over Trazodone tbh.
