Trazodone, Seroquel, Remeron

[Just a little pinprick]

My psych wants me on something for insomnia. He wrote me for 100mg Trazodone. He is also giving me the options of Seroquel 25mg or Remeron 15mg, if the Trazodone doesnt work for me. I havent picked up the trazodone from the pharmacy yet, and I just wanted to see what peoples experiences have been with these meds - experiences both good and bad.

Trazadone works i started at 50 mg and as time goes by i went upto 150mg .. My insurance company stopped my seroquel script stating it causes weight gain and diabetes, i still have a few left i think 50 mg, in the beginning you get a pill hangover from them for an hour or two in the morning, i took one last night and slept 8 hrs, great for sleep…they helped me a lot during benzo withdrawal

Mirtazapine works great for me for sleep.
