Trazadone, what do you think?

If I can remember, isn't Trazadone metabolised to mCPP, a piperazine stimulant with action on the serotonin system?

im prescribed trazadone and i hate to take it cause it leaves me way to drowsy in the morning but man if it floats your boat and you want a groggy high then go for it

I just realized that less is more here and will keep my posts shorter in the future. It was my first post and after I saw all of the ones before were usually one sentence I immediately regretted it. Sorry.

Don't worry about it. Sometimes people post huge essays. If people are too lazy to read it then they miss out. We don't want to miss something you would say just because you want to keep it short, contribute all you want. Its what keeps this all good and informational and thats what we want. :)

Trazadone just made me groggy. Felt like i took a few tylenol pms. Hated it. Rather ambien if I had sleep issues. I don't suggest benzos for rec use. Smoke some pot. Don't become addicted to xanax or kpins. getting off them is very hard.

like i said i have trazadone and its shit theres no rec use and all it does is make me sleep forever and wake up feeling like shit, HitMes got the right idea smoke some weed man youll feel good sleep throughout the night and wake up feeling good well at least thats how it is for me.

I took Trazadone for sleep for a few weeks...The first couple days were pretty bad. I felt so tired all day the next day and work sucked balls. Also, a common and interesting side effect of this drug is that you often wake up with raging wood. This could be a bad thing or a good thing, depending on your situation ;)

I just started taking Ambien, and I highly recommend it. I've only taken it for like 3 days, but I've never felt groggy the next day. It's not a benzo, so there's no long term hardcore addiction with it. Also, it also can give you kind of a cool buzz....This drug seems to have a wide range of effects on different people, but for me, it's the perfect thing at the end of the day, combined with a nice bowl to smoke. I take adderall during the day on most days, and lately I've been using the Ambien for the comedown at night....kills two birds with one stone. Wipes out the comedown and lets me sleep whenever I choose to.

BTW, Ambien is generic now. I have no insurance, and I got 30 x 10mg from Costco for like 6 bucks.......Sorry, didn't mean to turn into an Ambien advertisement.

Recreation= i don't see it happening
Traz= good nights rest and then feel groggy when ya wake up.

My doctor thought it would help me sleep, but for some strange reason it made me feel like I was about to jump out of my skin. I wasnt tired at all but my coordination was terrible like being drunk. I hate that stuff I threw it away. Plus if you drank so much as one beer your were essentially dead to the world, but then again mine were big ass 150's.

Yeah, don't worry about the short posts, if people don't wanna read them it's their risk to take. As far as your trazadone question, I didn't really like em myself, couldn't stay awake to save my life, wasn't really high, just uncoordinated lol. It was horrible. If I were you I would save it for a day when you've done something else and you're coming down and just want to go to bed, i.e. some kind of upper. Hope this helps.

I have 50mg trazadone pills in the house all the time and they have no recreational effects for me. They are good for putting you out though, one pill alone makes me very tired with in like 15 minutes.

Trazodone had *one* mildly recreational effect - if you can call it that. I take it to help me sleep - 150mg - for chronic insomnia. The downside is that it can cuase occasional nightmares, or overly vivid dreams. The mildly recreational effect only becomes noticable in higher doses like mine. There is a 'trail' effect in dim lighting - something like the trails on visual acid, but not as colourful. It's not really a recreational effect as it has joy form of enhanced consciousness - more of a quite interesting side effect. I wouldn't even suggest taking it to see this phenomenon - but if you do have to take it in doses of 100mg or up, look out for the trails after about an hour and a half. In bright light they subside fairly quickly - but as soon as you're back in the dim, it comes back. Even though I get this every night, I still find myself stopping to play with things, swirl my arms around, and walikng through doorways is amusing.

Nothing special here - just mentioning a fact.

Trazadone is in no way recreational. Plus it's not only useless for it's on label use which is depression it's also useless for it's off label uses.

I havent heard one good thing about this drug honestly. It doesent work well with sleep from what ive heard people say and it has awful side effects such as a ripping headache and really scary dreams if you do manage to sleep.

I think this is one of those drugs best suited for the trash bin.

I cannot take any anti-depressants. I get very anxious. I have a ton of 'em though.
Celebrex
Trazadone
Effexor
Elavil

They were prescribed for pain. HA!

If you are taking it to come down I would suggest xanax or valium. But if it works for you than wtf...I just hate traz, makes me feel like crap.
HM

My homie and I take it after we smoke meth. it helps somewhat.

For me its ok for sleep and great for alcohol wds but there is no rec. value. Also with larger doses it gives really irritating boner :|
