Social Justice Transgender and gender identity discussion

Kids shoild just be kids, snotbubbles, tantrums n all.

I don't see the kids at my kids school even giving a shit about sex, sexuality or that kind of thing and maybe adults forcing specialisation on them is the problem.

They grow up at their own pace, not anyone else's.

I agree, kids are gender neutral until they decide they aren't.

Telling a kid what gender they are only causes more problems than it's worth.

I think what's more likely is that children are being indoctrinated and gently coerced as opposed to the hypothesis that there has always been a high % of transgender humans and they just didn't realize it or come out because it was the society suppressing them.

Telling a kid they can decide will increase the number of tranys because its leading them down that path.

maybe they already are already going down that path but are being encouraged, general edumacation is very agenda driven and wooly inclusive. It is fucking with kids heads, the combination of Gretan Death Cult climate indoctrination Excessive examination pressure and social programming has created a really fucked up population.

I think it may be a cunning plan to hide the numbers of lizard people by distracting people with gender issues. So they worry about things that don't really matter.

Lizards may be injecting these themes into our society in order to engineer a generation that will be easier to take over.

Someone like Rodger basically needed advice on how to communicate and interact with women. Advice which unfortunately is lacking for men in this day and age. Women have their magazines which contain endless articles about how to beautify themselves, how to attract men and advice on relationships. It's also something that is a constant topic of discussion among females within their friend groups. With men there's a more of a stigma on getting dating advice and some women can be extremely harsh when it comes to how they treat men who attempt to court them (especially if the guy lacks social skills). Some guys will try, encounter a few rejections and then they'll give up because the pain of rejection is too much for them. Other guys will push through, keep trying and eventually learn what works and what doesn't (this the basic definition of "game"). Some guys are just naturally good with women and don't need help (these men are often raised with a positive male role model like a confident father figure who consciously or unconsciously conveys these lessons). For people who have conditions like Asperger's, learning these skills can often be extremely difficult or even impossible because they cannot pick up on social cues so they will never understand why what they're doing doesn't work so they won't know what to do differently. Rodger was a relatively attractive dude so he assumed that this should have been enough to get him success with women. And sometimes that is enough but if a guy has a strange personality then he cannot rely on his looks alone because he might consistently make others feel uncomfortable and they will feel an automatic aversion to him. This is what I believe happened to him and due to his narcissism and entitlement this was an unacceptable outcome so eventually he lashed out in an extreme way. It was a lack of power that he felt and constant rejection so he felt a desperate urge to take some of that power back.

Another unfortunate outcome is that many of his later critics and observers don't care about any of these nuances and have used his case to attack all men. Guys are just expected to know what they're doing and if they don't then they might get labeled as "toxic masculinity" or whatever BS is bandied about by the media and "social justice" activists. One movie that attempted to touch on the difficulties men face was "The Red Pill", produced by a woman, which received a lot of attacks from the media and activists. It's almost as if advocating for men is automatically considered bad or negative. And yes women face a lot of adversity and problems in our current society but women also generally have more of a support network or people are more likely to help them or sympathize with them. Men on the other hand are expected to already have their shit together and are undeserving of help. I'm generalizing but that's a trend that I've personally noticed and experienced. I think a broader understanding and empathy for the plight of men could help people like him and prevent other similar incidents from occurring.
Being a cis male certainly doesn't come problem free, can you imagine the issues that others might be going through?

What age do you think is appropriate to start teaching children about sexuality and gender identity?

Idaho Becomes First State to Protect Women’s Sports From Transgender Agenda

Idaho Gov. Brad Little has given women athletes renewed hope. Faced with a politically correct culture that is denying women the right to a fair playing field in sports, the Republican governor signed into law new protections for them.

Recognizing “inherent differences between men and women,” Idaho’s Fairness in Women’s Sports Act provides that “athletic teams or sports designated for females, women, or girls shall not be open to students of the male sex.”

The measure, which Little signed into law Monday, applies to all of the state’s interscholastic, intercollegiate, intramural, and club teams at the high school and college levels.

Idaho is the first state to prevail against forces working to stop similar bills across the country that seek to right the wrong girls face when state policies force them to compete in women’s sports against athletes who are biological males.
...
[article transitions to Connecticut's allowing of students to compete as they 'self identify'] Congress passed Title IX in 1972 to prohibit discrimination on the basis of sex, in large part to ensure equal opportunities in athletics and education for female students. It extends to programs operated or sponsored by schools receiving federal funding, which includes every K-12 public school and virtually all colleges and universities in the country.

In evaluating the Connecticut Interscholastic Athletic Conference’s policy, the Justice Department concluded:

CIAC’s construction of Title IX as requiring the participation of students on athletic teams that reflect their gender identity would turn the statute on its head. One of Title IX’s core purposes is to ensure that women have an ‘equal athletic opportunity’ to participate in school athletic programs. … Reading Title IX to compel schools to require biological males to compete against biological females in athletic competitions is precisely the type of interpretation that this Court should reject.
The Justice Department’s instruction to the Connecticut federal court carries a warning for all states to heed. Inherent, physiological differences between the sexes still matter. Title IX expressly prohibits discrimination on the basis of sex and is being violated by schools and state policies that allow male athletes to compete in women’s sports.

The Justice Department’s action has dignified Little’s bold action to enact the Fairness in Women’s Sports Act, which will protect equal opportunity in sports for female athletes in Idaho.

While I support a person's right to view and express themselves as they see fit, I also support the legal pushback to allow genetic females to compete against their peers, not against those who 'identify' as female.

^For me it's bizarre when some people claim to be protecting women while being socially pressured to support an agenda which would effectively destroy women's sports.

What age do you think is appropriate to start teaching children about sexuality and gender identity?
I'm not expert enough to make that decision I can just say what's happening now seems very wrong (and is only giving validity to certain theories).

What's happening now? Are you referring to Rodger's ruthless killings?

I certainly couldn't justify a murder simply because I felt society didn't educate me enough about being a sexually active (or in Elliot and other's case---a wish to be sexually active) cis male. Education has been lacking for a long time.

I think men are talking more now than ever before about their own identity as well as others. It's healthy for all of us.

Yeah, this is good to see, have no issue with whatever the transgender agenda is for the most part but the amount of flat out denial of science and sense when it comes to trans women competing alongside "real" women in sports is staggering.

12 onwards seems like a good start
Women have their magazines which contain endless articles about how to beautify themselves, how to attract men and advice on relationships.
Boys Life (Boy Scouts of America) is a magazine I read at a very young age (well under 12). It didn't have relationship advice but it showed a boy how to be independent like a man.

Maybe now that women are in the boy scouts, the magazine will start giving relationship advice?

That's a nice thought but unfortunately forcing the Boy Scouts to allow in females has effectively destroyed the organization (which was arguably the goal). There are powerful global interests which are attempting to destroy the ability for men to advocate for themselves (and white males more specifically).

There was already a Girls Scouts organization.

The presence of women/girls doesn't negate mens' (or boys) ability to advocate for themselves. We need more women in power to actually get things done.

You know if Rodgers was just a few years younger he could have learned how to talk to girls in the boy scouts instead of, you know, murder people.

I don't think you understand the purpose for the Boy Scouts or the benefits for males to associate with other without women around. There were already Girl Scouts. There's no good argument for forcing the Boy Scouts to accept girls apart from some weird political agenda. Want women in power? Vote them into office. Leave your weird gender politics justifications elsewhere.

Terrible take.

I heard you the first time. In relationships, it's a good idea to keep calm and listen.
This isn't a relationship but if it was it's also important to understand and recognize what the other person is saying.

I've given you examples of what it means to me to be a boy scout, can you do the same?
Your example of what it means to be a boy scout is to allow girls into the organization even though they have their own.

The concept of the Boy Scouts as they've existed for over a century is antithetical to the goals of the gender politics crowd
