The only time you cannot fight or escape the standards of others, is when they lock the lid of the casket down.

i second the motion. as hard as it seems at times, we are still masters of our own fate. sometimes it takes time, but in the end we still have a direct effect on our own lives. it's merely a question of whether we're prepared to put in the hard work required.
 
you don't know my circumstances (and hence, shouldnt really have commented like so) and as such, im currently trapped.
I just needed to get those lines outta me. Its rather hard being in a position where you have noone to talk to personally because of being an only child and distance and time separating you from true friends willing to listen

either way, dont jump to conclusions - I havent given up. I just need a bit of time

moe hun you know i love you dearlly and YOU ARE my friend...agreed we dont/ many dont know your circumstances very well...if at all...but hun...if you post, then people are going to reply...dont jump down throats just cause people can empathise with what you write... :\

all you have to do is pick up the phone and ring me at any time if you need someone to talk to. you know my mobile is always on and i always answer it. imonly a train ride away now hun...not in another state :)

you can take control of your fate and destiny...i do believe that...but you have to take the first step into changing what needs to be changed or what you have to do...theres only so much people can do before the person has to help themselves...----< @
