Yo im not experianced with opiates but i just found 100 tramadol 50mg and i took 300mg already how much mmore can i take without having a siezure??

the max dose to stay below the seizure threshold is 400mg. Although it isn't a hard and fast rule.

oh them were the days when i could get off on tramadol years n years ago hope its enjoyable for you but like previous reply said dont do too much n one go its like demerol you increase your seizure risk

Just want to add this is PER DAY, not per dose. Most dosing guides recommend not exceeding 200mg/dose.

Read the post above yours? C'mon this isnt urgent your just being a fiend. Bottom line is its a risk, and very possible you will sieze. Note canes emphasis on PER DAY. 700mg in a day... do you really need to ask this? Do you think 400mg is safe and 401mg isnt? Know your body man, it isnt that simple.

You can take as much as you want but note the consequences.

if you'd read the post above yours you would have been able to work that out. you would be safe to take another 100mg for the day. it would be of great benefit to yourself to do some reading on tramadol (or any other drug) before you go experimenting with it so you know the facts and information behind the drug before you go having an accident.

repeat it with me : do not exceed 400mg (200mg per dose) of tramadol in a 24 hour period as it lowers your seizure threshold.

it's important that you understand that tramadol doesn't cause seizures. it simply lowers your seizure threshold (how succeptable you inherently are to having seizures). what that means is that i may be able to take 1,000mgs of tram in a day and be just fine. someone with dormant epilepsy may have a seizure after taking only 200mgs. tramadol is a gamble...and its effects are specific to the individual.

I had a seizure off of 150mg of tram. I never had one before or since. nuff said

that's not a smart decision mate.

Read up on tramadol- it is not a "regular" opiate- it also affects other parts of the brain which, when abused (or stopped abruptly) may cause seizures in some people.
