I went to see my doctor today complaining that the other meds I had been given wernt quite cutting it for me and he prescribed me 100mg x 60 caps of this. I have'nt tried any yet because it says not to take if on antidepressants, presumably because of increased likely hood of serotonin syndrome. I would like to know what other people think of these who have tried them. It looks like it might be fun or rather of therapeutic value although I was thinki9ng the same thing at the time of being prescribed amitriptyline 3 weeks ago. I am a little concerned about its potential to cause seizures although I have never had one and am not epileptic.

Tramadol is not gay, Tramadol I classify in its own field of pharmies. Very weird, but good I happen to prefer it over most benzos. I was getting it in 100 mg pills you take 2 to 3 at a time and you'll be cool.

For some Tramadol/Ultram works okay, but I concur with my russian friend on the subject. If a doctor tried to give me Ultram instead of say Vicodin, I would sock `em in the face (J/K)!

Ultram(Tramadol) is an adverse opiod, meaning it effects the opiod receptors completely opposite of something like morphine or even codeine... basically it will rub you backwords 'opiately'.
don't get me wrong, it isn't like popping aleve(naproxen), but it isn't anything special, just a chill layback, that you might find rather weak even with 5 or 6. not much more than a typical opiod body buzz minus the head cluster plus an added A-typical type of euphoria(not the same 'wow' type you get with smack or oxy)

It is now the 10th hour after consumption and the time release lasts 12 hours. I have found this drug to be of no real value to me. It has nothing to remove my upperback & neck pains. It has also interfered with my concentration. Also I get a stiff jaw that is uncomfortable. Generally speaking I am not pleased with this medication and will discontinue its usage. I will have to book another appointment with the doctor and tell him this. I felt the codeine was good for a while but I had to take too many capsules to get adaquate pain relief. What do you see as being the next drug I will be prescribed? I want to know this before hand so I can assess whether or not it will be of value to me before he dishes out another 60 caps. At this rate I will probably have a whole bowl full of meds before I settle on something I am pleased with.

i never received a BUZZ from TRAMADOL, but i will say TRAM is very effective at killing WITHDRAWAL SYMPTOMS from the discontinuation of NUBAIN...
anyone trying to quit BAIN should definitely check out TRAMADOL..

Ultram has little or no recreactional value. It does work quite well with pain and I usually take one of them and a couple advil to fight the post opiate headaches I get. This combo works well for that.

Have we not beat this to death? No, it has little to no recreational value... good for hangovers and helping withdrawal, but not much else...
