Tramadol, where did I go wrong?

I can't really comment on your high but be careful,taking that much Tramadol in such a short period of time, the limit is 400mgs in 24hrs or you run serious risk of seizures so taking 400mgs in 4-5 hours isn't going to be very safe even if you do take a benzo with it.

Some seem to get allot more from it than others I'm guessing your falling into the wrong category, save the rest for when your in pain !
 
A couple years ago tramadol used to give me a great feeling. Hadn't taken it in forever and now have a readily accessible supply and it does nothing for me aside from help out if I run out of oxy. I'm assuming regular use of stronger opiates either destroys the "tolerance" or maybe even blocks the euphoric effects some people have. Then again like you said a lot of people just flat out do not get anything from it. Are you taking anything else regularly?
 
Tramadol barely keeps my persistent back pain at bay AND prevents the intake of other serotonergic drugs. Lose / lose imo.
 
Thanks everyone! I guess I'm one of the ones who it doesn't work for. I wish I had hidden my oxy from my po! Lol And Hybris I take a lot of meds daily for bi-polar, insomnia, depression, anxiety, panic and diabetes. Oh and now I'm on a bp pill, even tho my bp is low 90/64, my dr is givin it to me bc my kidneys aren't functionin right and he said the bp med should help my kidneys. I can't help but to think all these years on regular drugs and abusin drugs did this to me. Sigh.
 
I'd suggest getting a second opinion, especially given the apparently cocktail of chems you take regularly.

Some doctors are idiots, as you may or may not have already found out.
 
The Hydroxyzine you took is an anti-histamine so it would block the histamine overload in your body, which is why you get that itchy body high feeling,
I think that might have been what happened, but that's just an educated guess.

Anti-histamines just help alleviate the itchiness from the histamine release caused by the drugs. This doesn't effect the actual high though, since the histamine release is not what is getting you high, or causes the body high.
