[ The drug here is Ultram Tramadol HCI. It has 50 mg per pill. This has no tylenol in it, and I believe it is time released, though I am not sure. There is a brand of this drug that contains tylenol, so beware ]

This is coming from an opiate user. I have done opiates for a long time, ranging from codeine-hydrocodone-oxycodone-oxycontin (etc), but not any of the very powerful opiates such as heroine. I am also a regular DXM user, so that helps with my tolerance a lot. I recently came across Tramadol and read up about it. A lot of people said that it was a nice euphoric, long-lasting 8 hour buzz that felt like hydrocodone. Others poked fun at these people and peristed in claiming that the drug has absolutely no recreational value.
Well my conclusion, after taking the drug, is that pretty much all of the people who claimed that this drug does nothing recreationally, are regular opiate users with a VERY HIGH TOLERANCE. And lets not forget that drugs affect everyone different.
The truth is, this drug is DEFINENTLY GOOD RECREATIONALLY. And I will go on to say that I like it better than hydrocodone but not quite as much as percocet. I am still on the drug right now after taking it hours ago. I'm relaxed as hell, calm, pleasant, buzzed, awake, fuzzy, tingly and yes... EUPHORIC. So enough of the "it does nothing" bullshit. If it does nothing for you, I'm sorry, but that's what a high opiate tolerance does to you. Or it could just be your body. But don't go on claiming that it is a worthless drug. Anyway, the fact that this drug contains no tylenol is a huge bonus plus the fact that it lasts a very long time.
As for dosage, most seem to need 100-250mg of this, while some others with a big opiate tolerance seem to need 300-400 or more of this stuff. It only took me 100mg to feel nice as hell, but then again I am a lightweight (meaning I don't need high doses to get high on things). It took about 20 minutes for me to start feeling it, and then about an hour for it to fully kick in. I've been chillin since then. If you don't have a high tolerance to opiates, I highly recommend you take 100mg to start, and add some more if you need to. Once again, it lasts a very long time, so you will have plenty of time to redose.
Anyways, I can describe the trip as any hydrocodone/percocet trip, except without the itchiness and I have yet to feel any nausea at all. Also, this drug has a "speedy" feeling to it. It also makes you much more social and confident. I definently recommend this drug if you are an opiate user. However, if your someone who has a very high opiate tolerance, I don't know if this drug will do it for you, especially users of very strong opitates like heroine. As for everyone else, Tramadol is a great alternative to codeine and hydrocodone and it's just fine if your out of those percocets. Tramadol is absolutely perfect for getting through a stressful day.
I hope this finally gets rid of those stupid posts of people claiming that Tramadol is worthless. It definently is not. But always remember that tolerance to stuff like this builds up FAST, just like an opiate, so you should never rely on these types of drugs daily. If you have to take them, be responsible and spread out the days that you take them, or you'll end up having to pop a huge amount.
[ I am in no way encouraging anyone to abuse this drug. I am only recommending it as an alternative for opiate users. Be safe, have fun ]
