Thanks for answering my question about Methadone and Tramadol. (The threa disappeared together wit a lo of other's, the other day).
Most of your postings were pro-tramadol, and I guess it's very individual. To me it was raher a nightmare. I at first thought that someone must have tampered with my methadone linctus, as I was sent into instant withdrawal a couple of hours after drinking it, and eating the tramadol pills.
Stupidly I didn't suspect tramadol, but repeated the foolish action with bottle after bottle accusing everything around me of stealing my methadone. When I at last suspected the tramadol pills, I read again the little information booklet but it said nothing about such things.
I then went to the pharmaceutic's "home-page" (Tradolan). And there they actually give a warning about tramadol's capacity of triggering WD in opiate-dependent users. Also I got an e-mail from a person who said he was a MD and told me that the combination methadone-tramadol was a serious mistake, and if SSRI:s also were inolved, it made it much worse, with panic, anxiety, angry outbursts etc. I am on 60 mg daily Cipramil (Celexa in US) and I sure got all those symtoms.
I'll never touch tramadol again.
