Tramadol HCL (Tramal)

I got a couple of Tramal caps of a mate who says they are a strong pharmaceutical (opiate) pain killer. i'm sure i'm gonna have a bit of fun and get a little fucked up but what i'm actually really interested in is if anyone has taken these b4 to get fucked up and also why the hell do they put the HCL on everything tasty. does it make much difference? is there an easy way to piss it off?

TRAMAL aka Ultram is not a strong pharmaceutical (opiate) pain killer. it is a quasi-narcotic analgesic used in the treatment of moderate to severe pain. It is a synthetic analog of codeine, but both it and its active metabolite O-demethyl tramadol, have low binding affinity to the opiod receptors. <- taken directly from Erowid. Try some basic searches or at least posting these basic questions is 'basics'. they will not really get you fUXeDuP like a real opiate. It will take care of a headache, however.

Please use the search engine!! This particular topic has been covered in depth over and over again and there are two categories of people when it comes to this.

Category 1:
More useless than codeine, don't waste your time unless you have a headache in which case it does a great job

Category 2:
200mg of this stuff gives me a swift kick in the caboose. It gives me a little nod combined and a little bit of energy.

I fall into category two, however it's not something that I seek out because it doesn't feel that good. It's a notch below hydrocodone.

It has been shown to cause seizures in some people in high doses. If you have a history of seizures, avoid as well as any dose could trigger one. This is a low percentage of people, but it's something that you should be aware of.

And yes, like real opiates, it is addictive.
