Opioids Tramadol for H Withdrawals, just delaying them?

ok nevermind, was going to take gabapentin but read up on it and i took alprazolam first and i heard if you take the benzos before the gabanpentin they fight for control and cancel each other and I don't want to waste them so i may just take .5 more of xanax and see how it goes...

Hey w/d is a horrible hell to go thru without meds. It seems like ur doses are low enough to be relatively safe. Do wats needed(safely of course)
to get thru this && b proud of urself for doing so. Hope ur feeling better!!!

tramadol did not work for me for taper. Too weak if u have a strong habit. One time after being off H for 6 months, I was in Thailand for 2 months, where they sell packs of 10 50mg trams in the pharmacy for like a buck 50. I developed a 1500mg /day habit for the 2nd month of the trip(plus was taking benzos 2-4 days a week, as they are OTC in some areas. I didnt think i had done enough trammy to get WD, but when I got off the flight home i had the worst shits ever, worse than H. The other symptoms were pretty minimal and the fact that I didnt think it was WD, didnt make me crave them. In fact I went home with like 2000 mg which I didnt even think about doing as the high was lame, and the ability to piss was almost impossible, like 10x worse than when ur loaded to shit on H.

quick taper works best for me w subutex if i can wait the 36 hours to take it(I hear that tar users wait longer as other actives have longer HL than powder H) wait 36hours then 28mg day 1. 16mg day 2, 8 mg day 3 8 mg day 4. 6mg day 5 4 mg day 6 4 mg day 7 2 mg day 8 and 9 then stop. minor WD, sleep 5 hours a day, eat food, no shits.

Methadone is much easier to start thats why i prefer it, but you experience more WD at the end. 150-200 MG day 1, 120MG day 2, 80 MG day 3,4 60 day 5 50 day 6 40 day 7 30 day 8,9,10 25 day 11,12 20 day 13, 14 15 day 15,16 10 day 17,18 7-8 day 19 5 day 20,21,22,23 2.5 day 24, 25 then 0. sleep goes to 4-5 hours a night below 20mg. I use 10mg pills, so hardd to do the 7-8mg dose and the 2.5,mg since they r scored in half. I do hear they have more potency than liquid and that liquid has like 30% variation from my friend in MMT

UH.. yeah This run was short for me so my opiate tolerance was low! I don't like doing the methadone or bupe tapers... they just aren't for me... trying something new and it seems to be working pretty well imo!!

Tramadol in ANY amount isn't going to produce a nod! Not worth it, too dangerous to dose high. With a heroin habit you aren't gonna get much warmth from tramadol. lol

Benzos and gabapentin actually potentate each other. I don't know that taking one before the other would cancel out a synergistic effect, where did you read that? Doesn't make much sense to be honest. I've taken gabapentin and had IV benzos with no issue, worked quite well!

Ambien doesn't always knock me out on a rattle. 1.5 mgs of xanex always does tho! I'm not sure what to suggest, I'd personally save the xanex for the worst of your suffering and try to use the ambien for sleep since you have loads of those anyway!

Well I started getting the yawns, and tear eyes and achy muscles so i decided to take the gabapentin (Should help with sleep too)
(hope this counts as staggering)
Took 900mg
1 hour later 300mg
1 hour later 300mg

idk I feel anything... took with pepsi to help with absorption, maybe if I don't feel anything in a little I'll take .5mg of xanax...

Gabapentin is absorbed rather differently than most drugs. It has to be transported across the cells and the rate at which this happens has absolute limits. From what I recall reading there wasn't much point in taking more than 200 mgs at one time. If you WAIT a little while and take the pills over a period of time you will waste far less of the drug and attain far better therapeutic benefit. I have a tolerance and 900mgs taken the right way will sometimes have me bumping into walls!

Yeah it had me out by the 3rd pill, I'm all out now of gabapentin and only have my tramadol left... hope that'll keep it at bay... going to do a 50mg 2x a day then 25mg 2x a day taper... i hope it works !!!

just an update if anyone is even watching this... 5hrs after 50mg dose (only one) felt w/d-ie and took 25mg more (split a pill), now 4hours from 25mg and feeling ok still... going to take 25mg now and 50mg in 3 hours.
