Swim got hold of tramadol for free and was wondering how the high is, and just general info or advice from people who have done it.. S/he's pretty tiny (110lbs) so is there a limit she should keep in mind? S/he's never done anything besides weed and psychedelics.

Hi there and welcome to the site,

Tramadol is a very hit and miss drug with people - some (myself included) really enjoy the effects of low doses others get nothing from it at all. With any new drug it is always safer to start of low and take a bit more if needed so try 50 or 100mgs to start with (you can take another one when you gauge the effects.

We have a Tramadol thread that you may like to read here - I personally do not get any more pleasure from taking a bigger dose and stick to around 100 or 200 mgs (I'm large male 220lbs) and higher doses come with the risk of seizures.

Hope that helps

Check to see if you have the instant release or extended release. If you have the extended release, you need to be careful about redosing or mixing with other drugs - a few people have gotten into trouble in the early hours of the morning from redosing on extended release painkillers.

I am prescribed 100mg of Tramadol 3x/day...it does absolutely nothing for me in the feeling good sense. But, as was said, some do get a pleasant feeling. I'm not sure, because I haven't researched it...but from talking w others, it seems heroin addicts (me formerly) don't get any effect. I only spoke w either heroin addicts or pill addicts on this subject....since you aren't an opiate user, just be careful. Everyone is different and can have varying effects-what obliterates one person does nothing for another. You just never know. Start low, and always be safe.
