Opioids Tramadol ER qiestion

Hi there. First time posting so be gentle! Recently a friend got some 200mg extended release tramadol and was wondering if there is any way to get the 'hit' quicker. He has tried crushing the little balls, but isn't sure how effective it is. Any help greatly appreciated :)
 
crushing the little balls in just about any extended release formulation is a surefire way to counteract the attempt the company made in creating the extended release formulation. The body will absorb the medication quicker once it is crushed. i would suggest taking the crushed powder, and putting it into a capsule and taking it.

the only experience i have with ER formulations is a long time ago with Adderall in college, and this method worked just fine.
