Tramadol depriving me from sleep, what to do?

Hi guys,
I'm asking for recommendations on what would be better to have a good sleep; yesterday I did 850mg Tramadol with some benzos and SOMA, but I was able to sleep only 5 hours and was tired all day. I tried to take a nap today but couldn't manage to get asleep because of the damn SNRI effect.

I have this for sleep: Clonazepam, Diazepam, Alprazolam, Clonidine, some SOMA and Diphenhydramine. Which one would help me more to sleep? does the Clonidine or Diphenhydramine interact with other meds?

Thanks in advance.

To start, 850mg of tramadol is rediculous. Doing it once might not harm you, but seizures become a reality when taken at those doses for any amount of time.

After I think about it it can't be safe for me to reccomend any drug with that dosage of tram. If you must diphenhydramine is your safest bet. If your blood pressure is normal, clonidine will be the next safest.

Do a Google search to check for drug interactions. Why did you take so much tram and how much soma/benzos did you do?

I forgot Tramadol sucks sometimes (sometimes don't, don't know why).
I did along with the Tramadol 1200mg SOMA, 50mg Diazepam and 6mg Clonazepam (yesterday)

As has been said the dose of tramadol alone you took is in the range for seizure potential without doubt, if you're needing to take tramadol in those high of doses, it would honestly be less harmful to you to switch to a different opiate / opioid.

At that point you of course want to avoid combining all the other CNS depressants as you won't have the worry of seizure, and unless you are highly tolerant to everything you're taking, repository depression would be a major concern.

The SNRI properties of tramadol make for a dirty high, and issues such as excessive restless as you're describing. Best to either slow down, or at least switch to something with less potential for disaster.

Yeah, I will switch to Codeine, it lasts less but it interacts much nicely with other drugs. Tramadol is not so bad in the morning, it gives you a pseudo opioid feeling plus energy. Taking it at night and going to sleep soon is not a good idea.
As for yesterday, I passed out 3 hours ago after taking a little of everything (4mg Alprazolam, 2mg Clonazepam, 20mg Diazepam, 50mg Diphenhydramine, 2ug Clonidine and 1g SOMA). I am kinda tolerant to everything except except Diphenhydramine.
Thanks for your help guys.

If a benzodiazepine isn't putting you to sleep with the tramadol, then I'm not sure what will. Perhaps add an anti-histamine.

Don't take clonidine with it, as there is sometimes an interaction between NRI's and clonidine.

My only comment here is that you better be VERY careful mixing all those depressants, if you dose something wrong it could kill you. Not to mention how godawful of an addiction all those will create over long-term use, except maybe the diphenhydramine. Be careful dude!
