Tramadol and Codeine

Has anyone tried this combination? What mg did you use on each? Is it even safe?

i never have personally, because i read THIS erowid report about mixing tramadol and a 'real' opiate (unlike tramadol; in this case hydrocodone).

The kid had seizures and was seriously fucked, i'm not sure if that was just because of that individual's reaction or maybe something he didn't say in the report/something i missed reading it, but personally i wouldn't fuck with that combo. I'm sure people get away with it all the time, i just don't think it's worth it when people have gotten seriously fucked from it and tramadol and codeine really suck to begin with (compared to stronger opiates).

I have been doing this combination a lot lately and thoroughly enjoy it. I have found codeine potentiates the opiate effects of tramadol. I usually dose 150-200mg of tramadol and then 300mg of codeine, also some doxylamine succinate and sometimes promethazine as the codeine wears off.

I usually take 50-100mg of tramadol with 50mg of doxylamine succinate and then dose another 100mg of tramadol 40-45 minutes later. I wait about 20 minutes to half an hour after my second dose of tramadol to down around 300mg worth of CWE codeine. If I am going to take promethazine I will take 30-50mg about an hour and 15 minutes to an hour and a half after drinking my CWE. I also occasionally take 5-20mg of valium with the first dose of tramadol and doxylamine.

I read that they seriously potentiate each other so be careful if you do decide to mix

i mix tramadol 2ml vial=100mg with opiates oxy but do find that if i do it with demerol feell kinda tremor and shake a bit

tramadol and codeine work together fantastically in my opinion, the synergism is fantastic. i've used doses ranging from low to extremely high of tramadol and codeine and never had a problem. i don't recommend going over the 400mg of tramadol though because of the related risk to having a seizure.

what kind of tolerance do you have to opiates?

Sorry to dig up the old thread but...
I'm on this combo right now and it's fantastic, I've been dosing tram all day from 10am, I took 100mg and half an hour later drank a CWE with around 250mg of codeine in. I'm close to nodding right now - very enjoyable.

i've mixed the two, can't remember exact dosages, probably 600mg codeine and 400mg tramadol

I've mixed the two in reasonably high doses too and found them enjoyable. Tramadol, for me, is the "main" drug whereas codeine is the booster - so my tramadol dose is larger. Also, tramadol lasts a lot longer so take your codeine a little while after the first tramadol (and as always, tramadol works best when taken in increments).
