Is there anything that's more effective in terms of euphoria/managing pain? it's always been great for the euphoria effect (for me), but I want something that may help a bit more and is easier for me to get the doctor to prescribe to me other than the usual (oxy, vicodin, etc) . I do suffer from fibromyalgia, irritable bowel syndrome, migraines, anxiety, depression, etc. I emailed my dr to see if there were any alternatives, that the antidepressants and lyrica/neurontin meds didn't really help me at all in terms of pain. Any suggestions that they won't flip out about and think I'm an addict?

IMHO anything is better than Tramadol. Tramadol is garbage. Ask for T3's or Hydrocodone. Tramadol is in the same class as those as far as I am aware so I don't see why they wouldn't give you something with APAP.

I'm allergic to codeine, so T3's are out. Tramadol is in the same class as vicodin?

Yeah, but it's not covered by my drug formulary. I actually was looking for the name of that tramadol alternative, thanks man! We'll see what she comes up with I suppose.. just looking for suggestions other than codeine and something that's easily prescribed. Oxy's would be nice, but I'm not a cancer patient nor do I have a screwed up back or been in an accident. As far as they're concerned I'm a fibromyalgia patient with anxiety (fucked in the head) and they'll give me the crappiest drugs for pain.

Closed. As it seems one of your prime concerns is getting something that produces euphoria, and we aren't here to tell you what to ask your doctor for, or how to ask. Please review the BDD guidelines, PM any questions.
