Opioids Tramadol 50mg tabs and white vein kratom caps together?

I have successfully convinced my doctor that I fucking can’t stand Wellbutrin and Seroquel and I just want my old prescription of Tramadol back for my bipolar depression. I will be having it re-prescribed on Saturday of this coming weekend…

I’m only on kratom as a therapeutic and haven’t told my doctor that I’m taking it, but I’m wondering if anyone has experience with Tramadol and white vein (in particular) kratom (or any strain, really) combined? Any potentiation to be expected, etc?

Hi, I have taken tramadol for 11 years, or at least I had until stopping forever 10 days ago courtesy of the corporation which is my health provider, in the last year I was tapering down from 300 mg a day, only I was always not quite on target so to speak. Specifically I would come up short repeatedly for the last ten days of each months script, so I began substituting the missing doses of tramadol, with kratom, always the morning dose, and I never took them at the same moment, always at least three hours apart. I would be very cautious dosing the two together as the kratom may very well provoke some unwanted side effects, particularly violent headaches, and or seizure! I always took red maenga da kratom caps, and never more than two grams total!

I've always figured that taking Kratom and painkillers together would be a big no-no. But after you posted this thread I got thinking: "I don't think I've ever actually heard that". I've just assumed.

So now I'm curious too to see what more informed members might have to say. My guess is that it is a potentially problematic combo. Maybe not as bad as something like benzos and alcohol. But concerning nonetheless.
