I'm a mid 30sish Male of healthy build and minimal opiate tolerance.
I've tried several strong opiates in small amounts and then disposed of them when I realized how viciously moreish they are and that I totally could not control my intake, so I'm somewhat used to the feeling, but have no tolerance whatsoever at the moment. I also settled on about 90-150mg codeine potentiated with promethazine as a nice relaxing amount for the end of the day, perhaps with a mild benzo and some beer, so I am in no way an opiate heavyweight.
However I came into the possession of some 50mg Tramadol capsules. The internet is filled with relatively bad or at least not particularly positive reports of this stuff, and some quite scary warnings regarding seizure risk at high doses, but I had no intention of reaching even the 400mg threshold they recommended for a daily dose.
9.30am - Drive to work, before I leave the car pop 2x50mg Tramadol on an empty stomach. Within 30 minutes I'm feeling surprisingly different, there's no strong seratoniny push as I suspected there might be, but there's a mood lift, and a complacency. The opiate effects were mild but kept building, and after peaking maybe an hour and a half in lasted for 6+ hours of very pleasant, productive, mild opiate high.
6pm - Drive home feeling no longer under the influence. When home ingest two more Tramadol and a valium before dinner. Eat dinner with no feelings of nausea or uncomfortableness, not even any itching. The whole night is very pleasant and relaxing and I go to bed early for a beautiful 9 hour sleep.
9.30am - Do another two Tramadol in the morning
2.00pm - A further one at lunchtime.
6.00pm - Drive home, mildly opiated. This is very bad of me and I should never have done it. Driving on drugs is stupid and irresponsible and makes you a bad person. Fortunately I made it home OK and the effects were mild enough to not cause any noticable change in my driving ability, but it's still a terrible thing to do.
6.30pm - Do two more Tramadol, the same effects again, still a nice opiate high, I'm surprised at how much it reminds me of other opiate drugs. Also do 2mg etizolam and have a beer as I don't want to increase the tramadol dose, but havent yet got to a noddy state. This is probably also irresponsible but is very nice.
Slept perfectly again, possibly during a nod.
The rest were done at a rate of two or 3 a day till they were done, and were nothing but pleasant.
I'd expected Tramadol to be much less nice than it was. As with all opiates I was relieved when my supply ran out so I didn't have to dispose of any before it became a problem, but they rank up there with some of the most fun things I've tried.
