Traces of blood in urine - can someone relate?

Hi,
For the last few months I have been going to the Doctor to get my kidneys and urine checked out. After finding traces of blood in my urine from a piss test, I was taken to other doctors for blood samples and X-rays on my kidneys.
Turns out after all the tests everything is showing up fine. No weird things going on with my blood, and both kidneys are functioning great.

So I go back for a pee test only to find out there's still traces of blood in my pee. I'll be going for more serious analysis.
My question is CAN ANYONE relate to this experience?! I am a little freaked out, especially since I have done many CWEs in my past.
On that note, though, my Doctor claims BLOOD would not be coming out of my penis if it was my liver.

So, on a scale of seriousness, has anyone else had blood in their urine? I've heard it might not be a big deal. And I've also heard it's a very serious thing. Like deadly even.

came here to say talk to a dr, which you have already.

have you been open and honest about your drug use? dont hide anything from your doc, when things bleed that shouldnt.

all the best!

In the past, yes.
But for the past year and a half I've only touched Kratom, morphine, DOC, and extracts here and there to cope with addiction.

My pee DOES smell strong and it has for a long time. Hell I can usually smell the coffee I drink when I pee sometimes!
My mother had been prone to urinary infections, kidney infections, etc. Since a child. Lucky for me I've had no problems (except for now! 24 years later).
So maybe it's just an infection. I hope so.

Hi there!

I have the same. During a urine test, traces of blood were found. This was 10 years ago, still have the same 'problem'. They never found out what causes it (didn't use drugs 10 years ago). Last time I checked I was pretty much alive.

I advise you just not to worry about it. If your doctor didn't find anything wrong, there probably is nothing wrong.

Have the doctors eliminated the probable cause being something to do with your prostate? If you are young I wouldn't worry too much, but you need to find out what it is. Does it hurt when you pee?

Issue with my Doctor is I've had stomach problems in the past ( he told me "I'm too young for stomach cancer"; dropped it, and now years later this, lol. Maybe I'll bring my stomach to his attention again? ).

Yes, I'm a very young adult. Haven't hit 30 yet. I told my Doctor sometimes i don't pee right away; but no I wouldn't consider it painful? I also am extremely hydrated most times of the day due to my work.

My doctor isn't finding anything wrong, yet. But he isn't stopping just yet. . I was just hoping for some personal experiences and I appreciate the help so far.
For example, My mother had a kidney infection which caused traces of blood. This was fixed.

So hopefully sooner or later something comes up. ..because I feel the deeper i go into tests the more serious the issue is.

My doc found the same today and told me to stay Hydrated too. I also seem to be alive. Don't worry bout it too much just keep up with the doctor, Good luck mate. KW

A friend of mine once saw some blood in his urine, he's quite the hypochonder so naturally he panicked. He was also in his late twenties back then; not a drug user except for cannabis.

He turned out to be fine, I don't remember what the cause was tho. But he's still happily alive ten years later.

Of course other peoples' stories don't necessarily apply to your case but since you're already seeing a doctor I thought I could share. Good luck and remember that worrying too much has never cured anything.
