Towards a Culture of Responsible Psychoactive Drug Use (updated 1.08.09)

Really good read. It's like my thoughts represented as an article. :)

Rofl.. from the freevibe website: "Over the long term, smoking pot can be worse then smoking cigarettes"

"Would you believe that nearly 90% of 45-year-olds in the United States have tried an illegal drug in their lifetime?"

that stat is pretty surprising to me actually

also, i didnt say it but a very interesting article... I thought the following was funny

"Late night coverage of the 2008 Summer Olympics was sponsored by Ambien, a popular sleep aid with memory-scrambling side effects whose commercials enticed audiences nationwide with comforting images of dreamy, refreshing, sedative-assisted sleep."

I also saw that LSD commercial and looked at the website. Fucking ridiculous...

If they still have the DARE program or something similar when my kid goes through school (if I have any), he's not going to it. I don't want my kid to be lied to. I hope by the time I grow up they realize that it's NOT FUCKING OKAY to lie.

Why are people so against getting high? What drives them to lie to our faces just like that? I just don't get it. I hope my generation is a bit less ignorant and a bit more open hearted so that we can actually make "the land of the free" truly free...

Im starting to get sick of these "you have a problem....lets talk, man" anti-"drugs" ads on facebook :/

At least the truth will always be the truth no matter what they say.

The truth is not going to go away, so its is inevitable that the general population will wake up to it eventually. Whether this will happen in our lifetime though i don't know.

Haha I saw it today too! I was in total disbelief, never thought I would see that. Total bullshit though, did you check out the website?http://www.drugfreeworld.org What a fuckin joke.

LSD is still one of the most potent mood-changing chemicals and poisonous substances on Earth.

Umh, yeah....okay.

Anyhow, excellent read. Most definitely a must read for anyone looking to get into drugs, or just for general knowledge. Kept my interest drunk and high through the whole thing :)

It's too bad that they don't have commercials saying that "The world and science would be nothing like it is today without the chemical LSD which helped contribute to the discovery of the structure of DNA (the double helix)"

By the way, anyone know where I can find this LSD commercial? If anyone can provide a link I'd appreciate it.
