i knew you when you were taken,
and i didn't have the courage to approach when you weren't.
then you fell in love again,
and when i met him, i loved him too.
we've all grown closer since then,
and i wish i could rewind time.
now he's neglecting you,
and you rely on me more and more.
but you love him still,
and i can't do that to a mate, no matter how much he deserves it.
and yet fate seems to pull us together,
and 'normal' scrupules seem to matter less and less.
hey, i knew you before he did,
but that makes him no less expendable.
sucks when the friend you should discuss it with the most,
