I am going to ponder this one a minute -- I got two seperate questions -- I sincerely encourage you to watch the youtubes if you have time and interest! (May I cross post this in 'other drugs' or and 'basic drug discussion? Just so more see it and hopefully participate---- maybe im the only one faniscated with such concepts...
1. Top 10 favorite criminals/outlaws of all times. (Reasons, youtube biographies, contextual information all good)
John Dillinger https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RHebWtDDiXc https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RHebWtDDiXc Desciplined, only violent when necessary. Largely a man of the people unlike say bonnie and clyde. (robin hood type theme) A man of principle. (though he clearly had a weakness for the ladies, tough to find a guy who doesnt) May be geographically convenient/seen some of his haunts.
Carlos Gambino (wiki lame https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Carlo_Gambino) ill do better When I wanna put a face on a mafia member that represents well, it is Carlos- not Luciano (who ratted for heroin, yes he did), Certainly not capone--- Meyer Lanksy comes close and may get one of the three remaining slots; awful close with luciano - in my mind it depends if he greenlit bugsy or that was a passion shooting from a gf/wives brother or w/e--which my research leads me to believe.
Carlos died in his bed of natural causes despite decades of fed attention Remained under the radar and considered "Insignificant" till it was too glaringly obvious (They weren't the Anastasia family anymore...)
Billy the Kid https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vn-uq-xj6Jc (I admit I haven't seen this one yet, I know his story inside out) An Irishman with an amazing gun hand and loyal (perhaps to a fault) - no he did not survive the maxwell ish IMO/research or kill 21 people! Was a gentleman compared to say Jesse James; or even the Pinkards. (also a bit of a robin hood theme) Man of principle
Bumpy Johnson. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bumpy_Johnson (Dont love they were all Irish but they deserved it - the 3 pigs- the determination, planning, way he handled himself in general RE: Dutch Shultz especially) Man of principle also a bit of robin hood theme.
Babyface Nelson (again his flare for going after law enforcement) -- I just really admire there was one man who saw a cop and turned the tables - he patroled for feds and they knew it. (Hunted becomes hunter, love an underdog)
Danny Greene https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ns045tElVa4 (The amount of death he escaped, that round through the car in self defense, the 'irish warrior' shit, standing on GP against the gambinos) *Stupider than brave perhaps. Man of Principle.
Arnold Rothstein https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Arnold_Rothstein https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ji66pummsOw (Rigged the world series and that is noteworthy and makes me laugh "America's pastime" right in its prime - more than that the brain on that man than almost anyone)
Meyer Lansky Im going with for #8
I wanna say either Terry or Demetrius Flenory but I am still on the fence on #9
I gotta think on the remaining 3 Part TWO STILL THINKIN ON -- A crew requires more attention to speciality.
2. IF YOU COULD PUT TOGETHER A CREW with any 10 criminals living or dead -- what is your dream crew. (again reasons great - we assume you are the boss *since we dreamin* - feel free to assign positions to your 10 ppl)
This one requires even more thought but since it is my thread I will get back to it.
Haha someone should make a cool fantasy football type draft app with stats and attributes - suppose not much change each year -- one time thing! This thread is a work in progress as the question is better than the answer I haven't thought out fully yet
Postscript - prolly best to pick dead people as im not lookin to stir up hate and one mans 'hero' is another mans 'narco-terrorist' in most current situations
