^^laC for the win.
Methadone does not need to be potentiated. If it isn't strong enough for you, something is wrong with you!! (Unless you got half a pill or something.)
I have no experience with the smaller dosages it comes in. I only have seen and done high dose pain management caplets. Experience the methadone.
Don't you want to know what it does, how it feels, and if you like it or not? I think that piggybacking substances that you are experimenting with for the first time is unwise. (I'm not suggesting that experimenting with substances is a good activity. It is what it is.)
I would suggest to anyone considering taking methadone for the first time to take it by itself and then pay attention to your system. Note your body's response, your mental state, your thought processes, etc. Any pharmonaut explorer should be smart about the substance at hand. It is important that you know how each individual narcotic you try affects you.
I can't use methadone. I can't use codeine. I learned about them individually.
If you took the methadone for pain, I'm sorry that you are hurting, but don't use the methadone and the codeine to kill the pain.
If you took the methadone because it showed up in your hand and you just took it out of curiosity, then satisfy your curiosity by learning how you feel on it. (And get another hobby, please.) I would ask you not to use narcotics, but if you do, at least don't use narcotics recklessly. Be smart about your dope.
