Took oxycodone for the first time.

So,i got my hands on 15mg of oxycontin. Popped one pill at 7:55. It is now 8:22 and I don't feel anything. I was expecting something great! Should I take another one or wait a little longer? I have been taking 10mgs of norco everyday for about two weeks but I haven't taken anything in about a week.
 
Are they oxycontin or roxicodone ? If it had 15 on one side and OP on the other then your not feeling it because it's time release. If it's roxicodone an you feel good off a 10mg percocet then just give it a little time and you will feel it soon.
 
We don't do pill IDs here. If you do a Google search for the imprint you'll be able to find out if its extended release/sustained release oxycodone (OxyContin) or instant-release oxycodone (Roxicodone). Instant release oxycodone with APAP (Tylenol) in it is called Percocet.

If it is extended release, that's probably why you don't feel anything, that, and your opiate tolerance because you've been taking the Norcos (hydrocodone).

I wouldn't take any more until you're completely sure if the oxycodone preparation you have is extended or instant release. Not all preparations of oxycodone are OxyContin.
 
Are you in Canada?We get IR's here that have V's on them,but I've only seen the 10 mg tablets."V 10's" we call them,I think the brand name is supeudol or something of that sort.some dude on here uses it as his username.

I can't say for sure,but to me it sounds like an instant release oxycodone tab.I know pill ID's aren't aloud,but I was just interested because I think I know what they are.
 
^what for? it is just going to make you pass out. especially since you don't have much of a tolerance

I think you should just chill. Skip the Ambien and just chill and see what happens. A lot of people who have limited experience with opiates have exaggerated expectations and 15mg of Oxy isn't going to blow your socks off anyway.
 
we still dont know if you have OxyContin or Roxicodone. if you have OxyContin it could possibly just take some more time to feel the effects. chill for another hour or so and then if you still dont feel anything take your ambien
 
^ I was about to type this up. I usually feel the effects within an hour, so take it easy and have a good time.
 
My friend had these exact pills last summer. Qualitest brand, 15mg round blue oxycodone IR pills. I never liked them much, I like the old formulation OC's way better.
 
^^ i would wait a couple days before trying again...because once you get that "high" you'll probably never want to come down. oxycodone is some powerful shit man, dont be fooled that just because it is a pharmaceutical product that it is better for you then Heroin or other opiats... i kno people who have tried all the commonly known opiates (oxymorphone, dillies, oxycocodone, morphine, heroin, ect..) and his DOC is still oxy. right now he takes around 200-250 mgs to just feel normal. that would suck...
