Benzos + ketamine definitely removes the more "mystical" or "psychedelic" feelings from the drug and it takes ketamine from being a dissociative anesthetic with a magical touch to being no more enchanting than propofol or a whippet in my opinion. I've done this mix probably more than I should have too, given the risk of falling asleep from either the benzos or the ketamine, and then asphyxiating in your sleep on vomit from ketamine induced nausea.
Also for the sake of maintaining low tolerance, "juggling" pharmacokinetic mechanisms is quite helpful, especially given how dull and boring mixing benzos with ketamine (or 2-fluoroeticyclidone) are. Benzos and (3-MeO/3-HO)-PC(E/P) are also quite dulling, but if you're careful with maintaining a very low dose of both, you can achieve a unique and great feeling.
My personal best mix was taking 1/3 of whatever I'd normally consider barely above threshold for my tolerance of flualprazolam and 2-fluoroeticyclidone. Assuming I'm tolerance free with both (I'm a huge advocate of everybody taking frequent tolerance breaks) I would take 1/4-1/2 of a flualp bar which should be like 750ug-1.5mg depending on if the pressie is hot or not, and 25-30mg of 2-fluoroeticyclidone and if that didn't feel like enough, redose the same amount again within an hour. Ketamine could substitute in for 2-fluoroeticylidone too, as it's becoming increasingly unavailable. Usually once the 2-F-OPCE (aka CanKet or 2-FXE) wore off I'd consider mixing something else in like a bowl of cannabis, just for my personal tastes as I obviously can't speak on anybody else's.
