Too old or still good?

Found some bud that isn't mine in my room. It's pretty much shwag, that I can tell. But it doesn't really smell like that nice herb smell really earthy and smells like wood. Bag I found it in was open, it's probably about a gram more or less. Alot of it is kinda ground up. (Not powdery but not nugs either.) But there are some nugs maybe 3 or 4 maybe a little smaller than my fingernail each. I've never smoked shwag before mostly good shit, not dicksizing lol. Anyways it's more of a brownish dark green color, found a stem or 2 in the bag aswell. Should I smoke it or not? Since I've never smoked shwag I really don't know if the weed had "gone bad" or that's just how it is. It's pretty hard too kinda has the texture of bark, like it's really dry. Any input is helpful, I would just lke to know if it's safe to smoke..
 
It probably won't hurt to smoke it, but you can always just make some firecrackers with it to get the most from it without risking smoking mold/whatever.
 
I think I'm gonna take a chance. Though firecrackers do sound like a good option. Do they give off a weed smell though when you're cooking them, because I still live with my parents and Idk if they would like the whole house smelling like herb haha.
 
free weed! even if it sucks its not like it wasted your time. And yeah, a firecracker will smell like weed.

Mold=Not good to eat

If you only smoke chron i don't see why you would care about a couple of dollars of mids (5 a g i am guessing)

Inspect for mold, sniff, get swisher sweet>roll=blunt!
 
Weed is weed, if it's not mouldy then smoke it, why wouldn't you?

I've smoked shitey old brown stuff before to reasonable effect.
 
If it is as dry as you say it is than it shouldn't be moldy.

So smoke it
 
yeah, I recently found a 2-3 month old bag and was pleasantly surprised at it's potency - I think it's because it looked like a lot less weed than it was (it had shrunk a lot without the water, the nugs were extremely dense) but it definitely did the job :)
 
Yea it burns reaally good, being that it's dry. But it's pretty strong too, and now I have 1 gram of good weed! And I also picked up 2 grams of this reaaally dank stuff, haha I'm in heaven.
