I've been abusing vicodin for the past few days, taking around 6 grams of tylenol a day for at least 3 days. I had a few drinks last night, woke up this morning, and i have some pretty intense abdominal pain. I'm not puking or anything, but i feel really out of it and tired. Did I damage my liver? Do I need to go to the ER? I really don't want to, it's so embarassing going into the hospital for drug problems...

If it gets worse definitely get it checked out. Max dosage per day is like 3-4,000 of APAP and booze makes it even worse.

Max recomended dose is 4000mg's a day and even takin g that much with alcohol has been known to cause liver damage. I have taken 6 grams of acetaminophen in the run of a day and i guess i am fine (no guareentees since i havent had blood work in awile) but doing that often will most likely cause liver damage. Your not in OD range with that amount but with the alcohol it would cause alot more damage im thinking.

If you get any worse symptoms and get sicker go get it checked out.

Whoaaa dude those are some serious liver-destroying doses. I think you need to go to the ER because i hear that it starts with some pain and can quickly turn fatal.
Pasted this for you:

Within the first 24 hours after an acetaminophen overdose, the following symptoms often occur:

Nausea
Vomiting
Diarrhea
Appetite loss
Sweating
Irritability.

However, many people experience no early symptoms after an overdose. In the next 24 to 72 hours, the early symptoms start to go away, but liver damage starts to occur. The first symptom of liver damage is usually upper-right abdominal pain or tenderness (near the liver), and a healthcare provider may notice that the liver is enlarged. After this, liver failure may occur, causing symptoms such as:

Yellow eyes and skin (jaundice)
Dark urine
Confusion
Low blood sugar (hypoglycemia)
Bleeding
Nausea and vomiting.

Some people also experience kidney failure or heart problems. Death may occur, usually as the result of swelling in the brain, infections, or multiple organ failure.

Dr Pepper, I'm not too worried about dying from this or anything. I've done much stupider things to myself throughout the years and the pains not THAT bad.

I guess if i vomit at any point, i'll probably head over to the doctors. I drank a couple glasses of water and ate some fruits and veggies and took some vitamins and i'm feeling a lot better already. I'll be sure to let you guys know if anything exciting ends up happening though.

Yeah its really unlikey with that dose that you die, but i just wanted you to see the info where you feel like you get better , then boom, liver failure. Drink lime juice in water, its really good for your liver and aids it in detoxifying. If you have any l-ornithine, which is an amino acid, that would really help. You could probably make due with whey protein or something like that, since not many people have l-ornithine by itself.
