Too Much Bupe Causing Anxiety?

Lately I have been taking too much Subutex and I know it and can't seem to stop. Taking more only seems to make me feel worse but I can't help it. I also take it too often also.

The problem this last month was I stopped getting the really big Subutex pills and I started getting the tiny arrow pills. Just a tiny bit of the little Subutex pill is like 2mg. An equivalent dose of the big pills is like .5mg. Its almost impossipe to measure out a small dose with these tiny pills.

Even before I got the small pills I was probably taking too much still. It's habit I guess.

So lately I have been feeling a whole lot of anxiety. I can't sleep and seem to feel non stop anxiety. I also am having stomach and bowel issues. It used to be I would take my Klonopin and my anxiety would go away. Now the Klonopin seems to be doing nothing for my anxiety or insomnia. My depression has gotten a lot worse over this period also.

Could this be from taking too much Subutex? I think I would be fine on 0.5-1mg but I am taking like 2-4mg at a time some times. My biggest problem is I can't stop dosing throughout the day over and over. If I only take a small dose twice a day I would be fine but I just can't do it.

Have there been any other other changes with your medications? Like an antidepressant?

If those are the only drugs you are on then yes, it is the buprenorphine. Only thing that makes sense.

Stop taking it if its causing these problems. I've never heard of this happening with bupreorphine. It actually helps my anxiety and depression.

Yeah it actually helped a lot with my anxiety and depression at first too. For a while I didn't even feel like I needed to take my Klonopin it worked so well.

It's just lately I have been taking way more than I did when I first started taking it.

I know with Subs it's not like other opiates and more isn't always better. If 0.5-1mg had me feeling good and now I'm taking like 3-4mg at a time could that cause a lot of anxiety?

I use a hose clamp to measurre out my dose and with these new tiny arrow pills 0.5mg is almost nothing.

Has anyone else ever switched from the big 54-411 pills to the tiny arrow 8mg pills? I know there the same thing but I felt a lot better on the larger pills. I think it's cause I'm taking way too much with these tiny pills.

My biggest question would be what would too much Subutex do to me? If I only need 1mg and I'm taking like 4mg at a time would that make me feel all weird?

The dose change is most likely what the problem is. If it was helping you out at 0.5mg why would you decide to go any higher? It's pretty office its making your problems worse.
