Tolerance question

On Monday I took 52.5 mg of hydrocodone (in the form of Vicodin). On Wednesday I took 52.5 mg again. Very early Thursday morning I was at the hospital and I was given an IM injection of morphine and they gave me two Percocets before I left (I don't know these doses). The next day I went back to the hospital and traded the Vicodin prescription in for 30 5 mg unadulterated oxycodone pills ("the Vicodin makes me too itchy and I'm not comfortable taking Tylenol for an extended period of time because there's been articles about it lately." )

The last time I had 5 mg oxycodone, I would take 4-7 pills at a time. So I took 4 and it had only mild effects on me. I can only conclude that this is because the recent introduction of opiates to my body increased my tolerance. It's been over 24 hours since I've done anything other than marijuana. When will my tolerance be reset?

Nope, I wish it worked that way. Your tolerance will be exactly the same.

If on Monday it was your first encounter with opiates, I believe you'll have to wait for at least a week for your tolerance to "reset". Otherwise, it can take a much longer time. Eventually, only you can know.

Yeah, to be able to get high on 20mg of oxycodone, I would suggest waiting a week or longer.

be reset ? Definitely doesn't work that way. You'll have to wait a bit. As CH suggested, a couple weeks (+) would be best. 24 hours ? wow, that'd be awesome.
