Hello addicts, addicts in recovery and those 100% sober,

Well it's been a long road, I know that journey isn't done but with each passing day I feel so much better. So it is with happiness that today I'm leaving all the PAWS medication behind. I did pick up multi-vitamins and melatonin w/ theanine. The only thing I will take for my chronic pain is Aleve.

I wanted to thank everyone for all the support, and caring for me through this tough process. While I'm sure I'll still have my bad days and probably won't be even for a year, I've committed to this and will see it through.

While I will return to my regular job, I have found a new passion and that is finding better ways to help addiction, as well as make sure I repay my debt to those here by paying it forward. Please know if you haven't heard my story that if me, an 8 year opiate and benzo addict, if I can succeed, can do this you can also. I'm here to talk to, won't judge, and will provide whatever advice I'm certain of. I learned that I don't know everything, and what you may "think" is correct may not be and that could be horrible if giving that advice. What I know is I have a much better understanding of addiction, shout out to those of you that helped me in this area of understanding, and will continue to learn. Not to mention it keeps my mind busy. Anyways this is getting long.

So sincerest hearth felt thanks,

Bob

Hey hey, good luck and congratulations!

What meds are you leaving behind that you were taking for paws?

Not criticising but that seems a weird load of meds to be taking for PAWS (other than the mitrazepine). Whatever works I guess, maybe it just seems that way because it's an off-label use.

I'm sure things will change up for you kicking that lot but after coming this far I'm sure you'll be able to hack it.%) You certainly seem to be in a good place mentally.
