I've been off methadone for 6 days and I have just absorbed myself in music. I'm thankful for being alive today, for once in a long time. I feel so different being off methadone. I'm also thankful for the BL support.

Today I am thankful for the unbelievable number of different greens of the Pacific Northwest. So different from California.
 
I'm thankful for still having to breathe, to eat, to love and to pray. I'm thankful to be alive!

Thankful for still having a job/career in a time like this.
 
I am thankful for having the strength to fight the suffering I'm experiencing froma long term comedown.
 
Today I am thankful that I have finally learnt to be thankful for the things I do have rather than moaning about the things I don't have.
A lesson I wish I had learnt a long time ago.
