To the girl who jumped
Was life really all that bad?
You didn’t really pick a high enough bridge
Did you really mean it?
It was a car that ended it all
We saw the stains on the freeway
It looked like it hurt, more pain
Isn’t that what you were running from?
What route did you take?
Did you shimmy on the ledge till you got to the middle?
Or did you climb the lamp post and over the fence?
There’s no answers where you left, only flowers and a few fading stains on concrete.
Did you blink when it happened?
Was the release sweet?
I hope it was.
I hope it was worth it.
I’m sorry though.

I didn't know the girl who jumped, didn't see it happen, it just happened really close to my apartments, and had some thoughts about it. I think it's really sad when someone takes thier own life.

That was very sweet Frosty. I'm sorry for her though. I can only hope she got what she really wanted after all. Guess we'll never know.

Very very sad, I drive by there almost every morning, and your poem pretty much sums up my thoughts. Sometimes you feel like you could have made a difference, I know thats silly to think, but since I drive over that bridge every day, I have plenty of time for those thoughts.

Sometimes your thoughts can be blurry and it does seem worth it, cause nothing seems worth going on for. Most of us know that feeling a little too well. All we can do now is pray for her family and friends.
