first thing to know: im new to bluelight
second thing to know: i know nothing about tlc other than what i learnt in year 12 chem which was very little
anyway, ive read johnboy say a few times before in pill threads something like "if i had those tlc plates then we would know for sure" and so on.
this made me think that they must be very hard to get hold of or very expensive or illegal to have/import i guess. anyway so i went searching with google and found a site in the uk that sells tlc testing kits for like 25 pounds or something(with reference results included)... so obviously there not expensive or hard to get hold of
so whats the deal are they illegal to import/have or is it just that people are just waiting for them to arrive? i hope they are not illegal to have... if they arent then why waste our time with ez tests?
im very sorry if im missing something big, probabaly am, in which case forgive me im new

er um... how do i put this....
my recent comments have just been a private joke sort of.... basically i'm putting the boot into theGamer for not sending me the plates he's promised me. i found someone in australia who says they can get them for me, but alas they also seem to be stuffing me around. (hint hint b and b).
i'm just getting increasingly frustrated. if my visa wasnt so maxed i would order them myself direct, but i cant. also i was hoping to get instruction on how to use them properly.
so yeah, they are available, i'm just having a run of bad luck. you can ignoremy whingings, but hopefully certain other people will notice them

ah excellent, they didnt seem like they were something that would be hard to get, more like a standard lab item.
when you get them what exactly will you be doing with them? (testing pills, i know) but will you just be testing the odd pill or will they be incorporated into your testing stalls at raves? either way itll be good to solve some of those big nightmares like HQ's
i understand lab testing pills is illegal in australia but when does it become lab testing. would using tlc at your stall be considered lab testing and hence a big 'no no'?
i think technically using marquis is as much lab testing as using tlc (they are both common lab items) its just that marquis has been made readily available to E users. i guess it depends on how much of a blind eye the cops are prepared to turn?

first thing we will be doing is testing a bloody HQ

i think we are going to mainly use them to test suspect pills like that, and will probably take the TLC kits with us to events, but dont think it's likely we will use them there often.
with the legal side, i dont think it is actually illegal to test as such, i think its more that to do real lab testing you need 20 grand of gear, and no labs are going to let you use that gear for that purpose. but i reallydont know. its one of those questions where you get a hundred different answers depending on who you ask. mostpeople put it straight into the too hard basket, but all this media attention is forcing people to actually consider it more.
