Tips to take pics of pills

I really have a hard time taking pics of pills. Most time you can't see shit.

I just got a new printer tough and its a printer/scanner combo so I used that for the first time and it gave the best results I ever had so far

Do you have tips or advice on how to take great pics??

How did you take pictures with a printer/scanner?

But for cameras, search for macro setting. That always helps.
Lighting really helps too, open windows and let in some sunlight into the room.
I find that if its there is not enough light pictures come out like crap.
Take off flash too...

I simply put 2 pills on the scanner and closed the cover, press scan, voila

Macro is the best function - put the pills next to a coin (for size) and on a dark background with lots of natural light. If anyone is struggling to upload an image on PR - leave it on the "thread image" thread on here, Ill change it around and upload to the report.

On saying that Ive seen some nice results from a scanner picture but be careful incase you crush your pills!
