Alright, I'm 15, and I've been a opiate user since about 12, but never really a big time user. Recently I was put on probation and I'm not able to smoke cannabis, so I've done pills anyway I figured why not now, except for I picked up my dosage wayyyy to much. In 2 days I did 27 oxycodone 5mg, I'm a addicted and I've stopped. For 3 days I've been clean but the withdrawal symptoms are killing me I can't take it. Today I took 8, 5mg just to take the pain away it did for a few hours but now the withdrawal is back any tips on how to ease the pain? The stomach pain? Please answer fast as I'm in fucking pain right now lol thanks

60-70mg a day is pretty high for someone your age.

You have to remember that every time you take more opioids, the withdrawals/rebound effects will simply come back stronger afterwards. So if you're going to quit, there's two options: keep dosing in divided doses 3-4 times a day but reduce your dosage by 1 or 1/2 pill every other time (this is called tapering, and is essentially impossible to do for most people because they end up making excuses to keep their dose level high, or just abandon the taper entirely) or stop taking them entirely and abstain 100% from all opioids for a week or so.

Maybe making some ginger tea or other anti-nauseant (not Dramamine/Benadryl/diphenhydramine though, likely to cause cause restless legs) would calm your stomach? Or have something light to eat? The problem you'll find is, treating opioid withdrawal symptoms in such a way you don't get dependent on other drugs is kind of tough. Most people try to play it off as the flu or something, and essentially cross 2 or 3 days off their calendar to deal with feeling shitty to get the worst over with.

You can also try getting some Immodium, which is essentially an opioid that doesn't cross into your brain. But even then that will only delay your cramps and nausea until later.

The peak effects of oxycodone withdrawal shouldn't last more than 3-5 days if you're at that dose level. I'd just stop taking them entirely and feel miserable for a few days.

(You do realize that opioid pills will show up on urine tests, too?)

Alright so the symptoms finally stopped, I'm feeling lots better. So far I haven't even thought about getting more pills. And yeah I know they will show up in a urine test, I won't be getting tested untill sometime next week, so I should be fine, I tried the tea, most defiantly helps with the stomach cramps, thanks alot.

I always wait till I have no sngl pill and then go through WD, but not to be so sick you can find and buy /if you have that opportunity/ some Nurofen plus (ibuprofen wit codeine - but its available in UK only I think, no prescription drug, pharmacy only) and it really helps. I didn't even suffer too much when I had N+. It is big helper.

How long will opioids stay in blood, urine or spittle? I heard that its in urine max 3 days, is it true? Thanks. T A

To answer the thread question, one can take subuxone as soon as you begin to feel your first signs of withdrawal. Each one of those signs is different, but for us long term users of opiates, we know when "normality" is wearing off, and that plateu becomes a quick slope into feeling lousy. For me personally, my stomach comes back to life (uncomfortably) and I begin to get chills. This happens about 18hrs after my last opiate dose usually. How severe will depend on the amount and time that I used. The more for longer the worse, and vice versa. Longevity is a big factor. If you go months and months without stopping. Regardless of how "little" your taking, the withdrawal will be worse. For those struggling and can't quit, a great way to minimize withdraw is the 2:1 rule. For every two days of use, take one day off. You're not going to go into severe withdraw in 24 hrs, plus the user's brain knows it will get more opiate the next day so user does not experience as severe W/D symptoms. In my humble opinion, you're giving your brain a recovery day. Not only does it allow you to clear some of the drug out of your system, it also lowers tolerance slightly. If you're an addict, take Xanax or smoke some pot on that "off-day." At the worst, if you did this an entire year, you would have 4 months of sobriety... I'm an addict. I have been since roughly 2010. Mainly Hydrocodone, but I did a year long stint w Oxy that was too much for me to handle and landed me in rehab. Unfortunately, rehab did not solve my addiction. However, what rehab did do was show me "why" I used... Especially, such out of control use. For all us addicts, there is a "thorn" (I like to call it) be it fear, insecurity, disappointment, depression...etc This "thorn" is the root of our motivation to continue to get loaded even though we A) don't want it to continue B) Hurt ourselves or the ones we love.

If one can confront their "thorn", they are curing themselves of the addiction. Not fully, but like any disease or virus you must diagnose it in order to combat it. Once one realizes WHY they prefer to stay on "cloud-9" rather than confront the reality of their own life, they must confront said "thorn." Until then, it's fruitless to just try and stop. We use for a reason (most of us) and we cannot expect to just quit and be fine forever. Statistics have shown that addicts generally have a higher IQ (intelligence level) than non-addicts. Personally, I think that we feel things (emotions/creativity)more so than non-addicts. While, this sounds like a "pro" I believe it can turn on us and in turn lead us to believe we're smart or strong enough to work/live/be in successful relationship AND use opiates. Which in the end is not possible and ultimately the reason we're searching the web for withdrawal remedies. I apologize to all about the verbosity of this "memo" but I felt like I needed to share this. I hope all my fellow addicts can find peace and that you all realize that your "heart/soul" is a million times more powerful than some stupid yellow/white/blue/green/maroon pill. Mind over matter my friends and Godspeed.

PS Immodium aka Loperamide is a miracle for the stomach ails. Also, consider eating mild foods and limited greasy/sugary stuff. Ginger ale or Ginger Beer is also quite helpful. Melatonin for sleep and Advil and Tylenol in normal recommended doses will help the aches and pains too. If it gets to the point that you think you are going to break and buy more opiates, Buy Xanex instead, it's last case measure but you're problem seems to be opiates not benzos and calming the anxiety will essentially nullify the craving. Clonidine is a non-narcotic that works well too. Even bananas and a big glass of milk can help. Best of luck bud.

Opioids will stay in your "saliva"for about 8hrs after use. As well as most other drugs. I know this because I worked at a recruitment office finding people jobs and we had to drugtest people. In addition, I tested myself loads of times (always dirty) mind you, and it came clean after approx 7 1/2-8hrs. Pot, adderral and opies. In your urine, it's gonna depend on the amount and frequency of your use but I would say if you're not a fat person, it should be outta your system in MAX 96hrs... One time I was drug tested after consuming 80 mg of Oxy, 36 hrs after last dose and came out clean. I'm 5'10 165lbs... If your from UK... 2 meters tall and 80 kilos. (Approximation)

If you need to piss clean but also don't want to deal with the withdrawal symptoms you can try to transition yourself over to kratom and then taper that down. Kratom is a plant that contains a mix of alkaloids, primarily mitragynine, that stimulate your opioid receptors without carrying the same risk of respiratory depression and without turning up on a standard-issue piss test. You should be able to source it relatively easily, and it's only a controlled substance in a very few jurisdictions.

ooh I don't know. I did Oxy after using primarily Norco and Fentanyl and my urine test showed up for Oxy about 3 weeks later. I had just found the Oxy (not prescribed by that doctor)in my drawer and was trying to switch up and see if maybe it helped better than my Norco. It was 5mg and it didnt. WELLL... three weeks later it came out in my urine test that I had used, not only opiates, but specifically Oxy. I just told my pain mgmt doc what I had done. Fessed up, you know. In your situation just pray you got it out of your system. Good Luck!

What about if ur 225 and do have "chubs" lol. Just curiouse
