And there you are
in front of me
chained
cuffed
tied up
but not tied down

you know
in your heart
that you are free
to do as you please
yet here you are
naked
vulnerable
and

begging for my touch
for me to lay hands on you
to hurt you
to make you feel
wanted
desirable

you want
to be the object
of my affection
of my discipline
the center
of my world

you want
the tears to come
to feel used
to feel overtaken
to feel like you
are the only one
that i want

and you know
you know
you know
you feel
that you are
the only one

you know
that each time
that avellana meets azul
that su corazon
es mi corazon
and nothing will change
that or anything else

por siempre y siempre
and that's all
that we need
to sustain us
through the hard times
and through the distance

and soon, always soon,
we will be together again
because this is what's right
this is what is
built up from years
and years
of life just
hurling us
to this end

to this beginning
to this middle ground
of letting each other in
just to feast
and revel
in wondering
¿que estamos hacieno?

su corazon sabe...

Very cool. I appreciate the care that was given to the begging of your piece. placing of yourself or your object as naked and vulnerable then letting the emotions well up towards tears building before the subsiding of eventuality of existence. I also loved the part when you said:

"that each time
that avellana meets azul
that su corazon
es mi corazon"

It can be interpreted as each time the two cities meet in guatamala (for me perhaps it could mean love from two variations or places coming together) or even as one color shifts to another as both words have color derivatives in spanish.

You have a great way with words and i would emplore you to express them more often in words. Thanks ebow for sharing.

Also this reminds me a bit like Pablo Neruda. The great Spanish romantic.:

I love you only because it's you the one I love;
I hate you deeply, and hating you
Bend to you, and the measure of my changing love for you
Is that I do not see you but love you blindly.

interesting how this starts out fairly abusive, then turns tender. it plays well with the spanish. good read, thanks for sharing

(1) PHENOMENAL poem.

Beautifully done, Sir.

(2) Miss you, Ebow - out of the TENS OF THOUSANDS of all-time BL members, you're one of my favorite 0.1 percent.
