It seems as though we have a bit of a problem.
I‘m noticing a bit of a double standard going on here. You ask something of me, but then when I ask something similar of you in return, you look at me astonished I would suggest such a thing.
But, but, that’s not fair, I think. Whatever happened to equality and respect in a friendship?
Yea I know we’ve both made mistakes, both been selfish before, but if I can forgive and forget why can’t you?
If I can shell out all the compassion and respect I honestly think you deserve, why can’t you?
I know you care, and I don’t doubt it. I just wish you would show it, a little more, show a bit more compassion for the people around you. Hehe but I don’t see you coming to any honest realizations in the near future, but I’ll still stick by you and show you the same love I always do. Because I know in my heart you really are a beautiful person, and you really do care, you just need to observe your situations a little better.

that is exactly the situation I am dealing with. My boyfriend seems to wave my mistakes over my head while I forgive him for way more than he deserves.

Ive got a freind whos a lot like this, he'll do you favors and stuff but its almost not worth the trouble coz of the amount of drama that comes out of it, where he makes you feel like you owe him for saving your life or something but when you do things for him its conveniently forgoten in about ten minutes. gives me the shits but you just have to learn not to ask him for anything.... good peice though , you sound very patient and forgiving.
