Thoroughly nauseating time with 25i-nbome

Hi guys

Wondering whether you could help me pin point where I went wrong with 25i-nbome?

Friday night - had a curry and 2 glasses of wine shortly before I placed a 500ug complexed blotter between my bottom gum and cheek.

Took 20 minutes before I started to feel the effects (enchanced colours, stoned feeling).

Then - that was it! I felt nauseous for the next 8 hours and well into the next day. I felt like I had the flu.

I also take 20mg fluoxetine.

I could see the potential of 25i during the brief moments of feeling slightly settled, but all-in-all it was a very sickly ride.

Could anyone shed light on this? Do you think I may have poisioned myself with ssri mix or could the wine have contributed?

Generally psychedelics don't play well with SSRIs like fluoxetine. The wine may not have helped either, but generally all alcohol does is dull the trip somewhat.

A lot of people report not getting "pleasurable" effects from the NBOMe series it seems.

the SSRI is most likely, followed by the curry. 25I-nbome is quite light on the body, particularly compared with 2C-X chemicals. And i have gotten many pleasurable effects and reports from others who have tried 25I, B, or C

Thanks guys. I suspect the SSRI too. Luckily I'm withdrawing next week. The 25i has left with a glow these past few days, I deffo want to try therapeutic doses every few weeks

I found the quick come up from 25I-NBOMe was a little shaky and on a full stomach or under the influence of other drugs I suspect I would have had some nausea on the come up. Once the effects levelled out I had no problems though.

Definitely try it once you've come off the SSRI and without being under the influence of alcohol and see how it compares

Alcohol can be somewhat unpredictable with psychedelics, and in the presence of a large acidic curry it's no wonder you felt nauseous.

I doubt the SSRI will cause this problem; I have taken a large dose of 25c when I was taking SNRIs (venlafaxine), and I didn't get nauseous at all, although admittedly it is a different chemical to fluoxetine. But the principle should apply the same.

ive read a few anecdotal reports of SSRIs degrading the nbome experience.

The one time I felt kinda nauseous on 25I was when I took it right after eating lunch. Every other time I've done it on an empty stomach and felt fine.
