If you have put a thread in the wrong area, the best thing to do would be to contact a moderator for that particular sub-forum n ask them if they can move the thread to the sub-forum that you want the thread to go to.

I think you can delete a thread - but if the moderators / admin thought the thread was useful they can un-delete it. So if you would like a thread deleted then it is best to speak to a moderator.
