I've decided to go ahead and do this introduction thing even though I'll probably go back to lurking and fanboying over a few of the mods immediately afterwards.

So I'm here because a certain "PCP analogs (Cumulative)" thread and its discussion of actual drug chemistry convinced me that this is one of the more intelligent drugs forum on the internet. Drug-wise, I like dissociatives and psychedelics, and particularly novel ones and their synthesis. Otherwise I'm interested in out-of-body experiences, Jung's cognitive functions (I'm an ENFP if that means anything to you), experimental electronica, urban exploration (lame?), retrofuturism, transhumanism, cognitive science, and other stuff which is just like so awesome it is not even funny.

Yes and yes. I used to get panic attacks on cannabis but after taking methoxetamine I find my anxiety has vanished. Weird?

Oh I wouldn't say it's weird at all, I know that NMDA antagonists can have long-lasting benefits, even after the acute effects have long since worn off.

I think that's an amazing thing. I think also after a while of smoking cannabis, people generally begin to get tolerant to the effects, which can reduce anxiety as well.
