Thioridazine - a CYP2D6 substrate or inhibitor?

Think its both a substrate and a mild inhibitor (actually if I remember correctly its not fully known how strongly it inhibits 2d6 but not consider a strong inhibitor).

So, according to that study, mianserin must be fairly susceptible to metabolic inhibition - if it's plasma levels increase by two - with the presence of only a mild inhibitor?

If plasma levels increase twofold - is that basically the equivalent of taking double the amount of the drug??

ttt for insights on plasma levels specifically?

+ area under the time to plasma level curve variations, vs, the other variation - and differences therein.

I can't find any papers detailing answers to these questions specifically.
