Last week I had an eye operation. After sitting in complete darkness for a few days depending on others to even feed me I realised how many things I take for granted. While im close to full vision again my whole perspective on sight has changed. Until last week i never woke up in the morning and considered how lucky i am to be healthy and whole. Its an amazing miracle to be walking, talking, in relationships and doing all the things that make us people. To those who dont have all their faculties i now have a greater understanding of what they must go through. To that chic who is always at those parties i go to in the wheel chair- you rock!!
I say never let anything that may impair you set you back from still rocking on every day. While i type this im waiting to get my stitches out of my eyes but i cant complain one bit- to all those who face every day with impairments you are the real heroes- not those ones on T.v.
Theres my piece- i had to get it off my chest somehow- why not on this forum (the best one ive found so far).
