Things that make you happy

Sex, certain substances, music, movies, driving on my motor bike, and a few other things i can't think of.

Not alot makes me happy alot of the time.

Spending time with Wife, Son, and my family.

Its the little things in life that make me happy anymore.

Learning Italian makes me happy. You get the intellectual thrill of trying to figure out how the language works and the social thrill of trying to talk to people with a tenth the number of words you normally have. Vorrei parlare piu!

AWESOME! Ti parli Italiano? I took four years of Italian in high school and speak it pretty well. I'm 3/4 Italian and 1/4 German, so I also took a semester of German. Learning new languages is pretty awesome.

I *highly* recommend it to everyone I know. A lot of people can't get past the ridiculousness of it because, well, we're wired to NOT jump out of planes at 6,000+ ft. I always tell them that they're way more likely to die in a car wreck (which never really comforts anyone but it's a logical way to look at it :P).

I can't believe I did it. I can't believe I had the gall to actually jump out of that plane. I was so excited I actually jumped out early! I have been two times so far and I am probably going this Sunday. I am starting classes soon; that's how much I love it.

Have fun with it!

My brother swears by skydiving, he usually does it in Maine. Me personally, I can't see why anyone would want to jump out of a perfectly good plane, but I don't judge and to each their own.

I guess [like I said earlier] I'm just an adrenaline junkie, so jumping out of a plane just seemed like the next course of action for me. I wanted something more intense than roller coasters, parasailing (although not that intense), bungee jumping, shooting up heroin... 8)

Everyone has their own thing though :)

^ Exactly. I'm more of a roller coaster person myself.

Another thing that makes me happy (which would release copious amounts of adrenaline) is downhill skiing, especially tree skiing. My legs aren't what they used to be, and my quads are usually killing me by the end of a run (damn you lactic acid), but I love that need for speed.

Man, this is one of my most favourite things in the whole world as well <3

Nothing like cutting and carving in between trees at a fast pace to get your heart racing. I enjoy the challenge you face tree skiing, you have to dig in pretty hard to make some turns.

I miss skiing so much!! I've even gotten past the withdrawals phase, which sucks because it means it's been WAY TOO LONG! 2 years to be exact. We couldn't afford it last year. But this year we are going FOR SURE! I don't care if I even have to sell a kidney to be able to afford it =D

We're lucky enough to have a condo at the Mountain Club at Loon Mountain in New Hampshire here in the states. It's nice, you walk out the door and all you have to do is strap on your skis and you're on the mountain.

i dont think anything actually makes me happy but there are things that make me temporarily content...these are..

-a good hard workout

-competing and winning

-being out in the country alone with my dogs and watching them run and swim

-getting off work on friday knowing i have the weekend off
