🪖 War on Drugs 🪖 There is around 15 metric tons of pure morphine stored at Fort Knox

[Ozymandeus]

Lots of things are stored in this infamously secure location known as Fort Knox, including a one year supply of morphine for the feds and military, and some gold (supposedly).

This is after their 34 tons of opium (not including the morphine they also concurrently had at that time) was refined into morphine in 1993 to prevent spoilage. Very future forward thinking.

15 tons is just my guesstimate. Nobody knows the true number.

Do what you will with this information, my professional cohorts and daydreaming degenerate junkies.

Now I’m worried some German is going to detonate a nuke in there so that the value of the morphine will go down and he will be able to sell all of his morphine at a high profit.

Let’s hope that the stunt pilot he uses to spray poison gas on the fort only uses enough to knock everybody out briefly so that they can save the hero at the climax of the story.
