Theory on the Visual Effects of Psychedelics

I found this gem on wikipedia -- which helps support the idea that when Serotonin isn't causing inhibitory activity on dopaminergic pathways in the frontal lobe, it reaches the parietal lobe (and even as far as the Occipital lobe) - where it plays a role in both processing memories and the sleep process.

So doesn't the information in that picture imply "During periods of low activity in the frontal lobe, 5-HT2a-rich pathways in the Occipital lobe are active, and work to process visual information (as well as integrate the visual information into memory)."

I just want somebody to verify or dismiss that information, thanks.
