Ok, I've had quite a bit of experience with meth so I feel like I can comment on this.
I've not seen this show but I have seen a few others recently that were similar 'meth is the worst drug ever' type shows. The thing I hate about these shows is they tend to overdo the 'evil' aspect of the drug. First it was pot in Reefer Madness, in the 60s LSD was gonna ruin the country, in the 80s it was crack that was evil and causing an epidemic, then in 2000 kids were rotting their brains with ecstasy. There is always some drug that the media is demonizing as the 'most evil' or the one thats killing our kids or whatever.
That being said, meth is a powerful drug and you can easily mess up your life with it. But for me, I think it comes down to your personality type as to if you can handle hard addictive drugs or not. I had and have a lot of drug using friends. Some of them got themselves into trouble and others didn't and looking back on it those that got in trouble always had the 'life is a 24/7 party' mentality, had addictive type personalities, and could not seperate the time when you need to be sober from the times you could be fucked up.
Of the 4 that got into trouble with drug addiction, all had done meth, but only two had a meth addiction. One got into trouble with coke and the other with H. I liked meth, its a great drug, but you can't let it get out of hand. First off I'd recommend never IVing it, you are just asking for trouble there. And when you first start doing it the ability to stay up 24 hours a day and how great it feels is powerful drive to keep using. And when faced with a shitty drug crash or just tooting another rail its real easy to opt to just use again.
So yeah, its a powerful drug that must be treated with respect, but 'most dangerous drug' seems extreme to me. I think the most dangerous drug is really based on an individual's personality because everyone has different weaknesses.
