That Bloke who did Tribe has a new 5 part show, starts off in Siberia, dunno if it was on last nite , or tonite, but its on BBC2.

Edit.... Bruce Parry- Arctic.. was on last nite.

That's the same show that I saw. I was at the Manchester one, however. The cards with people's faces on them were the same! He did the same Family Guy reference to Stewie.

I need a new TV series to get stuck into. Just about finished Warehouse 13, watched all of Fringe & V recently. I've seen all the standard ones like The Wire, Sopranos etc.

Anyone got any decent recommendations?

True blood is good
start watching breaking bad after i saw it posted on this thread, its ace, cant believe i haven't heard of it before.
streaming it from watch series.com an the only good links are megavideo but can only watch so long before it cuts off, anyone know of any other good links or sites for streaming?? that wont fcuk up your computer

yeah really wanna watch this, the next episode is about xtc and how it effects the body, should be good. but haven't got bbc3 and cant watch on i player from ireland :(

watched the one on weed last night - very interested. Looking forward to next week on ecstasy - interesting to see there view point on mdma and it's harmful effects and also to see how they term 'ecstasy' - as mdma or as a generic term for pills because the bbc reported their studies on pills bought in clubs and the lack of mdma in them last summer.

yeah should be good, give some insight into what damage were doing to our bodies, well one thing i already know is that iv fcuked up my memory from years of doing various drugs, i have no short term memory at all and i think its mainly from mdma.
do you know where i could watch these online?? cant watch the i player from ROI :(

Which would indicate that every single one of those people was an actor then??
Well, if they simply posed for a photo, maybe unknowingly, then I would say not. It is a bit shady, though. He does maintain that actors are never used, and if it came out that he did use actors, then he'd lose a lot of credibility.

The 'How drugs work' on ecstasy should be interesting. I have a feeling I'll be yelling at the TV, though. 'MDMA ENTERS THE BRAIN LIKE A BULLDOZER, SMASHING EVERYTHING IN ITS PATH INTO A MILLION PIECES'. Or something similar.

He said that they'd taken pictures of people a they were coming into the theatre that night. So if it was the same people at a different show then it would have to be a hell of a coincidence for the exact same 6 un-related people to be at both shows & for him to pick the same 6 pictures. He's at it. Just because it says he doesn't use actors, doesn't make it true. He said he didn't use camera tricks, then there was that lottery one.

i'm kacking myself with anticipation over Boardwalk Empire.

Boardwalk Empire is an American television series from premium cable network HBO, set in Atlantic City, New Jersey, during the Prohibition era. Starring Steve Buscemi, the show was adapted from a chapter about historical criminal kingpin Enoch "Nucky" Johnson in Nelson Johnson's book, Boardwalk Empire: The Birth, High Times, and Corruption of Atlantic City,[2] by Emmy Award-winning screenwriter and producer Terence Winter of The Sopranos.[3]

The first episode was directed by Martin Scorsese and was the most expensive pilot episode produced in television history. On September 1, 2010, HBO picked up the series for an additional 11 episodes.[4] The series debuted on September 19, 2010.[5]

Boardwalk Empire has received widespread critical acclaim and high ratings for HBO. It has been nominated for two Writers Guild of America Awards, for Best Writing in a Dramatic Series and Best Writing in a New Series, and was nominated for a Golden Globe for best Dramatic Series. In addition, Steve Buscemi was nominated for Best Actor in a Dramatic Series and Kelly MacDonald was nominated for Best Supporting Actress in a Series, Miniseries or Motion Picture Made for Television.

oh man... apparently all 12 episodes of the first series have aired already in the US. sweet.
