The 'What Have You Bought Recently?' Thread - V2 - Second mortgage on my wardrobe

I say "buy". I am a huge hard copy fan, nothing replaces a pages and binding. But it's difficult for travel and commuting. And porn books attract too much attention from the wrong types.

I bought my 3rd Kindle. It's a wee cute white one. So light and dinky and fantastic to now have my e-reader back. Millions of books at my finger tips again.

Including all that page porn :sus:

=D

Liking the car chat boys X

I'm an Audi fan, had 3... First off a 2.0 FSI, then a mk V golf GTI, then got an 09 plate Audi S3 and now have a 62 plate Audi RS3... 2.5L turbo 335bhp, getting it remapped when the warranty is up, will be 410bhp then!! =D

Did you say you was 24 in a recent post? How much is the insurance on that? Since a had a claim a couple of years back and lost my full no claims my insurance is ridiculous :( Nice motor anyway man :)

Two of those items seem a good deal more cute and cuddly than the other.

Unless it's a Thresher shark..

(Awwwh :p)

Is it 2 step launch control or single? I've got 2 step on my supra but have to use it sparingly as the anti lag kills turbos :(

I have no idea all I know is I put it in sports mode turn traction control off floor the brake then floor the throttle and it levels out at 3200rpm I let off the brake and it goes FUCK OFF!!!! =D

@scotchmist (don't know how to quote 2 posts) my insurance is £860 for the year I pay out right, was cheaper last year but I have 5 years no claim. It was actually cheaper for me to insure the RS3 than S3 I had previously :? Not complaining mind.

PJ Harvey tickets to two shows. She is a musical goddess. Cant wait.New Nick Cave album Skeleton Tree. Its all about music lately.

^ Noice and noice again!

I didn't buy this but my Good Lady did and I'm very much enjoying the benefits of 'em...

May not seem all that exciting but has turned boots that I like but found really painful to wear into boots that I like that are now comfortable enough to run in (not that I choose to run in 'em of course ;)). Also acquired half-price so a bargain to boot!

(see what i did there? do you? do you?!?)

I approve of this shark =D

Would go a bit whiffy sat on the top of our headboard though so will probably be sticking with the one we have for now ;)

I definitely approve of these, chucked a pair into a pair of wellies for a festival and had no foot trouble at all. Wading around in mud for 4 days and no trouble at all. Not many things labelled with the buzzword 'game changer' actually are, these definitely fit the bill though.

Proper exciting chat for a Friday night/Saturday morning innit.

Hehe. With our insole-based talk maybe we can finally tempt that elusive chiropodist demographic into signing up :D

They really are bloody good insoles though.

That will be single step then, had that on my old Audi actually :)

2 step uses a rev limiter like yours has, but then also massively retards the timing so the revs hold on the limiter BUT because your firing well after top dead Center, you still have the turbo spooled up to whatever I set it to.

That means I can be stationary ready to drop the clutch but have an instant 2bar of boost ;)

A new shift knob for my stick and finally decided on a barrel for my AR build. Went with a 14" noveski chrome semi machined so I can shoot semi accurately at 100 or so yards.

Quality insoles shambles, I approve. They can make a massive difference in comfort and fit. I like the gel sole pads you get for high heels.

No spend day here! Though I have a list of 27 items I want to buy from a famous home store... Hey it's the first draft.
By the time I'm at draft 10 I'll end up with the latte and espresso glasses for 89p each n a few napkins. But it's the fabric section I have a real weakness, talk about impulse buys! Fabric porn halloo xxx

Fabric porn? Lol

I think there was a BLer who bought a lama whilst fucked out his face... Surely you didn't do something like that! X

I really hope not. Im not cut out to be a farmer. We shall have to see what gets delivered monday :)
